We know, Amazon wish lists can take some of the surprise out of the holidays; but it was still pleasing to find this gear under the tree (thanks, JoDee 🙂 ).

Not long ago, we covered panorama sequences in this post. But the one part that was always bothersome about panoramas was the guesswork involved in eyeballing the overlap needed for each photo, all the while keeping the camera level. But tripod heads like this one can allow any shooter to precisely mark the points of overlap so as to leave no gaps in the final composite.
