Another Niagara shot, this one of Terrapin Point, a rocky promontory that overlooks the river. Most people focus on the falls, and to be sure those falls are amazing. But once I caught sight of this outcropping, I knew I needed to photograph it too.
I considered photoshopping out the two excavators busily working atop the formation, but in the end they seemed to work. Not to mention they provided a sense of scale.
This shot reminds me of all those stories about foggy Scottish mountains and misty high highlands (not to mention more than a few creepy stories too).
Exposure Data: ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/100
