What Waited For Us in the Camp

Break for comedy…

Imagine the laughter when we arrived at the camp site and found this crazy thing staring at us from a nearby oak. I’ve seen enough faces carved into tree trunks that I immediately thought of one of those staring mad-eyed wood spirits. But instead of shivers, this one brought smiles.
