Requiem for a Turkey Farm - An HDR History

The building you’re looking at no longer exists. In its place is a mound of dirt and rubble. I remember as a kid being driven past this building back in its heyday. It serviced a local restaurant that specialized in turkey dishes. Ugh, the smell from all those turkeys!

But when this photo was taken, there were no smells but that of dust. No sounds but the howling wind. And now there are only memories.

A simple HDR sequence but with a digital GND filter added for that extra bit of mood.

Exposure Data:
ISO 200
f/4
1/250, 1/1000, 1/60

Freelance photographer and ponderer of the unusual. I welcome the presence of mystery and the unknown. Wonder is not absent from the universe, and there is still room for the child in those who haven't yet allowed their hearts to wither to dust.
