For Christmas my fiance got me some items I’ve been wanting for a while: Lomo equipment! One wide-angle, one telephoto, and an adapter for the Canon EOS mount.
The result? Amazing digital hybrids. The soft-focus effects on these allegedly “toy” lenses project very interesting images onto a sensor. And in the spirit of low-cost practices, I used Picasa rather than Photoshop to add some vignetting and cross-process simulation.
It’s hard not to chuckle at the irony: my 7D married with cheap plastic. I feel like a hipster. 😉
