Shadows on the Street - New Gallery, New Photos

The everyday street is full of the unknown. So many people, so many stories that we’ll never fully know. Eyeblinks destined to be frozen forever in cyberspace.

This street vendor was captured at a local farmers’ market. He looked like something out of a police procedural to me, the archetypical hawker of wares. This is why I love photography: it gives you the ability to find wonder in what most might see as ordinary.

This photo is contained within my newest gallery, entitled “Street Photography.” It’s my way of looking at people through the filter of The Twilit Lens. Hope you enjoy it.

Freelance photographer and ponderer of the unusual. I welcome the presence of mystery and the unknown. Wonder is not absent from the universe, and there is still room for the child in those who haven't yet allowed their hearts to wither to dust.
