Stop Using Automatic Mode to Avoid Exposure Disasters

Exposure, the amount of light in any photograph, is one of THE ways to make sure your photos look their best. And a top skill for all photographers to have is ensuring that each shot is properly exposed. But if you keep your camera in Auto Mode, your camera will probably guess exposure wrong about 50% of the time.

The solution? Go to Manual Mode. Ensure you own a camera that lets you take command. After all, photography is as much art as science. And you are the artist. Let your photographs speak in your voice instead of the camera’s.
